Tales from the Back Row

"Tales from the Back Row" was a gift from a mentor that couldn't have been given to me at a more perfect time. I started reading it right around the time I decided to transfer to Georgia Southern

It's a hilariously charming book by Amy Odell {current editor of Cosmopolitan.com} and her perception of what it's like to work in the fashion industry.

Working for Cosmo has always been a dream of mine so Amy is basically who I want to be when I grow up.

Amy is the definition of a success story. She was rejected from internships until her third year at NYU when she finally caught a break at the New York Observer.

She worked her way from the Observer to Jewcy.com and eventually to the New York Magazine fashion blog The Cut.

After a stint at BuzzFeed, Amy got an offer to become the editor of Cosmopolitan.com.

Amy's witty stories offer a great amount of insight into the fashion industry, as well as being a millennial is today's society.

If you or anyone you know is interested in working in the fashion industry, I would DEFINITELY recommend this book!
