Food Diary: Hibachi Clear Soup

Hibachi Clear Soup

WHAT YOU NEED

1 32 oz. box chicken broth
1 32 oz. box beef broth
1 onion, peeled, quartered
3-5 mushrooms, sliced (I used three for cooking and two for topping)
10 cloves garlic, peeled
2-3 green onions (not many of these are needed, used for topping)
French fried onions

WHAT TO DO

1. Pour chicken and beef broth into large pot
2. Add onion, mushrooms and garlic
3. Bring to boil
4. Let simmer for 45 minutes
5. Remove vegetables and salt to taste (I had to use a pretty good amount, fyi)
6. Top with sliced mushrooms, green onions and french fried onions
