To My Baby Sister on Her Graduation
It's that time of year where high school seniors flip their tassels and embark on to what's going to be the ride of their lives.
Watching my baby sister grow into the beautiful person she is today has been such an amazing experience. I'm the oldest of three girls and I've always had a close relationship with all of my sisters, but Jaiden and I have been through the most together.
I've seen her at her worst and at her best. We've shared countless secrets, had countless slumber parties and have travelled to multiple places together.
We're more than just sisters, we're best friends.
Words can't even express how incredibly proud I am of you. You have pushed yourself more than any other 18-year-old I've ever met. You have such big dreams and have stopped at nothing to achieve them and I look up to you so much for that.
Don't ever let anyone or anything hold you back or make you think you can't do anything you set your mind to. They say high school is the best four years of your life, but the best is yet to come. You have such a bright and successful life ahead of you!
I can't wait to see all the incredible things you do in college. Coming home isn't going to be the same without you there, but I guess that just means more trips to Tally for me! And more trips to Georgia for you!
Thank you for always being a listening ear and for always being a friend when I needed one the most. Thank you for putting me in my place and judging the hell out of me when I make bad decisions. Lastly, thank you for constantly showing me love and support through it all.
You're going places, babe. I'm so excited to watch you continue to grow and become even more successful.
I love you, baby girl. And I am so so proud of you.
