Simple + Cozy

That three day weekend was nice, but I'm glad to get back into the swing of things!

Anyone who knows me knows that school has never been a priority for me, but since switching schools I've quickly become invested in my education. {Maybe it's the change of scenery, maybe it's because I have to pay for everything on my own. I'm guessing the latter.}

Speaking of paying for things- we closed on our new house today! B is officially a homeowner and the house is finally ours! First things on the list: build a fence so Daisy Bug can't run off anymore & build shelves into the walls of my office for all of my shoes! I think that will keep B busy for a while.

Onto my outfit. I bought this sweater off a clearance rack at a Charlotte Russe in Pennsylvania and cannot find it anywhere on their site. I've linked a similar one for ya though! It's ridiculously comfortable and I absolutely love the detailing on the front. Today was pretty chilly so I ended up having to throw a blanket scarf over it, but I was good to go after that. I decided to keep things simple today and just paired it with my fave fleece-lined leggings and some riding boots.

I forgot to get a picture of the outfit without my scarf, so here's one of B & I from our impromptu "we just closed on our house" photoshoot.
