Life Chats: Packing My Bags

Owning my own personal styling business has always been a dream of mine- a dream that I've thought was silly until I realized I could actually make it happen.

With the support of my friends and family and a major push from B to apply to a school with a fashion program, I am so overjoyed to share that I was accepted into Georgia Southern University for Fashion Merchandising.

The initial excitement quickly wore off after I realized what this meant. I would be moving out of state, away from the life I've known for the last six years. I am starting completely over. I don't know about you, but I think that's scary as hell. Especially when you're only 21 years old.

GSU is in Statesboro, which is, from what I've heard, a typical college town. I've been in college for three years and have yet to feel like I'm actually in college. UNF just isn't for me. I'm hoping going to a school like Georgia Southern will help me get that experience I so desperately want.

So here I am. Finally moving away like a real college student, slowly building a life that I have dreamed of for so long. The move is going to be terrifying and I'll probably cry a lot {prepare yourself, B} but your dreams are always worth chasing.
